The update for April 16th - Website Revamp!

Hi, folks. It’s been a while since I last blogged. The new site is up and running for www.graphic-novels.com. I am currently working on the updates to www.didonline.com the publishing and multimedia site for my company. Lots of news coming up this month. I am going back to the artist interviews and gallery format. You can go to the site and view the artwork for yourself.
I am getting in touch with a whole bunch of folks in the industry to do interviews. I am currently working on Captain Commission the superhero for Boys and Girls Christian Mission Crusade. You can find sample of Cap and the gang at www.graphic-novels.com.

I have a couple of sensational artists who I am wooing to work on a graphic novel this year. I will let you know more as the details become clearer.

Jax and the Hellhound got a great reader response, so I am going to the next step and preparing a 22 page story to be seen on the graphic-novels site first. If we get as positive a response as we did with the story sample, I will publish the series in print.

I have secured my ticket for the San Diego Comic Con in July. I’ve been out of touch for about 5 years now. This will be a treat. I promise to bring back lots of pictures.  While I’m there, I will be interviewing old friends and enemies alike. I want to get back to the nuts and bolts of the business.

If you are interested in publishing comics and graphic novels, I have a book for you. Tony Caputo came out with a book called “How to Self-Publish Your Own Comic Book”. The book was published by Watson-Guptill Publications for $19.95. If you want it, go to my website and order it. This is  a “nuts and bolts” how – to manual on the successful procedures of comic publishing. It is easy to read and consistent throughout. I’m not a big fan of the artwork but the man even gives you contact information of printers, marketing companies and distributors. It’s like having a buddy in the business sitting down with you to show you what to do and who to go to for what you need.

I am getting the equipment together to create a podcast version of the Graphic Novels Corner. As soon as I line up my interviews, I’ll start around August.
Ta ta for now.
