The fight continues

The fight continues…
Jax update.Hello, folks. I have been busy working on the upcoming Jax and the Hellhound full color comic book. I have also been hard at work on DID Publishing's website. I got an email from a fan who reminded me that it has been exactly 20 years ago that Jax hit the comic book world with his D.O.G.. The idea hit me like a solid right hook across the chin. I need to republish the original story  and allow a whole new generation to enjoy my favorite (male) redhead.Convention stuff.I had a great time at the Super Con in Oakland, California last month. There were celebreties and almost celebreties around to entertain the fans. I got to meet artists who are fighting the good fight. Sure, the usual mainsteam talent were there to wow us with their work but there were a lot of talented people who published their own work and put their money where their mouths are to push their vision. I was impressed by that. I plan to showcase a few indie artists and writers on the graphic-novels.com website in the artists profile section.

Tarzan
I want to make a special shout out to one-time on screen Tarzan and all around great TV  western and sci-fi actor Denny Scott Miller. I chatted with Denny and his lovely wife for a while about the movies, TV and celebrity status. Before leaving he gave me an autographed picture of him in his most enduring television role; that of the Gorton’s fisherman. I was honored.
He has a new book out "Didn't You Used To Be...What's His Name?"
He talks candidly about his TV and movie days and the actors he worked with along the way.  Check him out at http://www.denny-miller.com.

That’s it for now. I will be posting again next week when I upload two artist profiles on www.graphic-novels.com
Be good to yourselves.
